This is what I'm doing today! Red Bull's Flug Tag (German translation: Flying Day) is today!When I heard this event was coming to the Twin Cities, I automatically thought "I. Am. So. There." Teams construct man-powered flying machines that they propel (among with themselves) off a 30ft high platform into the water. How could that NOT be amazing?
The coolest part to me is that the teams construct everything themselves. They are CRAFTY! Crafty, and then destructive, in a big/amazing/entertaining way. I can't not have fun at this event. Photos to come, of course! :-)
